The Watch Batman Begins Onlinefirst car model featuring the latest version of Huawei’s proprietary Harmony operating system will take the form of an electric sports sedan, scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2023, as stated by Richard Yu, Chief Executive of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group on Monday. Yu did not disclose the identity of the manufacturing partner but shared an image of a sedan branded as Luxeed on the Twitter-like platform Weibo. State-owned automaker Chery submitted a trademark application for the term “Luxceed” on July 14, according to enterprise data provider Qichacha. Anhui-based Chery had first unveiled its plans to create EVs with Huawei and retail them through the latter’s sales channels in September of last year. On Aug 4, Huawei announced the fourth version of its HarmonyOS, in which the Chinese tech giant stated it would incorporate ChatGPT-like generative AI tools into partners’ future vehicles.
